“it’s who you know”

2 Peter 1:3 Everything that goes into a life of pleasing God has been miraculously given to us by getting to know, personally and intimately, the One who invited us to God. The best invitation we ever received!

So many Christians make the mistake of trying to please God by religious routine. But in this verse we find the answer to pleasing Him, by getting to know Him. We become like those who we are most intimately associated with. So let’s quit doing and start knowing which will result in becoming like and pleasing Him.

What are your thoughts?

  1. Pastor David, this has confirmed what the Lord has put on my heart this season.
“We are human beings not human doings”.Its about our relationship with God through Christ.I love 2 Peter 1:2-3
Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.

I want to know Him and make Him known….
