This day was filled with great experiences. First we got up and said goodbye to Pastor Sochan and his team in Kampong Thom. What a great group of people. They are truly changing the world for the better. We left Kampong Thom right at 8 a.m. and headed back to the big city. 4 hour bumpy trip. We saw some beautiful country on our way back. When we arrived in the city we checked in to our hotel, grabbed some food and then headed out to the Dump.
The team did a great job, ministering to the street kids. Over 200 kids gathered right outside the dump, and the team played games with them, sang songs, and preached to them about David and Goliath, letting them know they have hope. We gave them clothes, food, shoes, and much more. immediately following the dump ministry the team went back to the hotel, showered up, got ready and headed off the New life fellowship of Churches.
Tonight’s theme was healing. I spoke a message entitled “Aggressive Expectation” Its the story of blind Bartameus. He had great expectation. He realized that Jesus was the Messiah he could do anything. He knew if he could just get Jesus attention he would heal him, and He did.
We must know, believe and expect Jesus to heal us. We had a great prayer time following message, God did some great things.
